(1) Job Responsibilities:
Channel Development and Target Identification: Systematically establish and maintain exclusive project sourcing channels for relevant industries in Japan, including but not limited to local Japanese investment banks, leading M&A intermediaries, trading companies, industry associations, business succession support centers, top private equity funds in the industry, and leading operating companies; through these exclusive channels, proactively identify high-quality targets with a willingness to sell and build the company’s proprietary project pipeline;
(2) Job Requirements:
Industry Expertise: Possess a systematic understanding of the Japanese market landscape, core value drivers, and specific risk factors within the relevant industry; have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the corresponding Japanese industry, and be familiar with mainstream transaction models and the characteristics of leading targets;
Target Sourcing Channels: Possess exclusive project resource channels within the relevant Japanese industry, including but not limited to industry intermediaries, inner circles of leading companies, and industry associations, and be able to efficiently engage with the decision-makers of target companies;
Front-End Project Experience: Possess hands-on front-end experience in M&A projects within the relevant Japanese industry, or experience in business development (BD) or strategic development roles in related industries; be able to independently liaise with senior management of target companies or their intermediaries, and proficiently conduct business negotiations and drive projects forward;
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a history of studying or working in Japan for an extended period; near-native-level business proficiency in Japanese and sufficient English proficiency for daily business communication; ability to adapt to frequent business travel within Japan and, when necessary, to be stationed in Japan long-term.
